At 8 ohms, it's still no less impressive 580 watts per channel.
Thanks to these impressive performance values, even speakers with critical impedance and low-efficiency speakers can be operated effortlessly, even in large listening rooms. Thanks to the consistent design for fabulous music reproduction that takes every facet and every musical detail into account, the AVXP 2-840 also presents classical or jazz performances with a sovereignty and control that is second to none. The consistently discrete design with two completely separate amplifier sections makes this superlative performance explosion possible. Each of the two channels is powered by its own huge toroidal transformer. These high-performance components can handle up to 2,640 watts of input power.
Thanks to the uncompromising double-mono design, a stage image and a differentiation even on the lower musical levels are possible, which is otherwise difficult to find not only in the price range of the AVXP 2-840 power amplifier. With the best possible structuring and a charismatic elaboration of typical voice details, vocal elements become an atmospherically incomparably intensive experience. And if sudden dynamic jumps occur within the musical event, electrolytic capacitors are available as short-term storage with an incredible 160,000 microfarads.

Even if you use extremely high-quality and resilient front speakers in the surround setup, you can connect one of these exceptional power amplifiers to the outputs for connecting an external power amplifier, which is available with every modern AV receiver or AV amplifier of the upper class.
